RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Veterinary Cardiology
Mark qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2011. He started his career in Cornwall and quickly developed an interest in cardiology and imaging, and local practices began referring cases for ultrasound from 2013.
After moving up to Worcestershire in 2015, Mark pursued his passion for cardiology further, undertaking and achieving the Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in 2020, and passing the exam for a designated Certificate in Veterinary Cardiology in 2021.
Mark set up Wyre Veterinary Referrals in 2021 so that practices across the West Midlands can offer cardiology & ultrasound services to their clients, while keeping the cases 'in house'. Alongside his referral work, Mark still works part time in a busy first opinion practice.
